Renew your dog license

Most renewals take about five minutes. You need your license number and a card to pay.

Before you start

Have these three things ready:

  • Your dog’s license number. You can find it on the tag and on your renewal notice.
  • Proof that your dog’s rabies shot is up to date.
  • A credit or debit card to pay the fee.

If you can’t renew online

You can renew in two other ways. Come to the Animal Services counter at the Health Department. Or call us, and we will help you renew by phone. We can help in other languages at no cost.
